Like a River
I flew over the Colorado River twice last week. From 20,000 feet you can really see the impact this river has had on an entire region.
The 1,450 mile long river starts in the Rocky Mountains and flows into the Gulf of California (at least it used to, before the water was diverted for irrigation purposes).
The landscape of the Colorado River is drastically different than that outside of the river basin. Deep and winding canyons, visible from space, dot the landscape for hundreds of miles.
The journey of the Colorado changed the course of history.
Revelation 22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
I reflected on my own journey…
As God looks down, does he see my journey as having an impact on those around me? Have I changed the landscape around me or have I allowed it to change me?
I hope that one day God looks down and sees deep and winding canyons flowing for miles and impacting everything in my way…

Totally agree with that and hope I can live up to it
