Tim Russert is in Hell?
Maybe you haven’t heard yet, but Tim Russert is in hell. Brokaw you’re next.
Pastor Fred Phelps thanks God for “Consigning him (Russert) forthwith to hell….” Russert’s sin? Being part of the media, promoting Satanic lies and “Roman Catholic voodoo.”
Wow….
Apparently God made this happen as a gift to Westboro Baptist Church. You might know them better as God Hates Fags, God Hates America, Priest Rape Boys, and more.
Phelps, like many others, believes that using scripture in his hate-filled rant adds to the authenticity of his argument. As lame as that is, the same thing happens in churches across the world every Sunday.
Here’s to the day when we stop pulling scriptures out of context to make a man-made argument and focus on God’s word - all of it.

This makes me sick.
Amen to your last sentence.
These guys might be pissed when they get to the pearlies and see all of us inside.

2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…
I think that means all of it.
Do you think Phelps has to convince himself everyday that what he says is true?
“Demon Possessed ‘Sadanical’ Media Generally”…. OK…Is Sadanical a word?
June 17, 2008 at 6:19 am
You realize now that Phelps is going tell everyone that “God Hates Floating Axhead!” don’t you?
June 17, 2008 at 8:16 am
Bethy - They might get stopped at the gate….just kidding. Hopefully they’ll figure things out before its too late.
CK - I think he is so involved in it that he can’t remember what is right and what is wrong. I wasn’t sure if he was referring to Satan or Sadaam. No one is really listening anyway.
Odgie - If that happens, we know we’re doing something right.

“Odgie - If that happens, we know we’re doing something right.”
Very true. I sometimes wonder if Phelps and his crew are satirists and nobody is getting the joke. They seem so stereotypically crazy and attention-seeking that one can’t help but think it’s a put-on. Watching that video, I caught myself giggling at how over the top it is.

Wow. Just wow.
The lost are really going to storm the doors of Christian churches now, aren’t they? What an appealing message, tic (tongue in cheek).
I think I’d really like to punch him in the face.
And yes, I mean that. Pastor’s wife and all.
June 17, 2008 at 10:10 am
Odgie - That would make a lot more sense than actually believing that stuff.
Cindy - How about a pay per view event?

I think it was “sodomical” as in “sodomy” but with Phelps you can hardly tell he’s so incoherent with hate. He’s looking old though, when will God choose him I wonder…..

GodHatesFredPhelps.com…
Huh? Did I say that out loud??
Obviously kidding…funny though
Bill

Hover… That makes more sense. Great question. I am sure that Fred has the exact time and date since he has a direct line to God.
Bill - Can that domain possibly still be available? Might be worth something some day.
June 17, 2008 at 12:01 pm
HAHAHAHA!!! Too funny…
Scott,
Nah, it’s unavailable. Although the .tv domain is available. Maybe Craig and Bobby can host it.
June 17, 2008 at 1:10 pm
is this for real? i’m all for free speech…and this is the ultimate test.
June 17, 2008 at 2:54 pm
Funny that he didn’t mention anyone at Fox News.
June 17, 2008 at 4:23 pm
I wonder if Jesus really spoke to Tim Russert in Olde King James…
June 17, 2008 at 5:09 pm
Seven…. All too real.
Tim - Fox News is God’s newstation. Everyone knows that.
Randy - It’s nothing like how he speaks to Fred now. He’s got the bat-phone hookup.

those people are ridiculous. they do something like that every time someone famous dies. you can look em up on youtube. they even celebrate the deaths of american soldiers and bring their silly little signs to their funerals. its sick. they sure do have a clear picture of what the love of God is all about, dont they…….
June 17, 2008 at 11:18 pm
I’m a very religious, ultra conservative person, but I have to wonder if Phelps and the WBC and I even read the same Bible. We obviously don’t believe in the same God! My God is loving and kind and tolerant.
This guy makes me physically ill. Can we all ignore him now?
June 18, 2008 at 7:51 am
Kurtis - One of my favorites was when they picketed next to the fallen bridge in Minnesota because God brought upon the sinners of Minneapolis.
Sleepy - Phelps reads the Bible, but I’m not sure he is listening to God.
If it wasn’t bordering on comical, I think it would make most of us sick.
June 18, 2008 at 3:56 pm
I’m sitting here watching this…laughing…when I realize…
This dude thinks he’s hearing from God, just as “normal” pastors do. That’s scary.
June 19, 2008 at 6:19 am
who thinks this guy looks like a ted turner knock-off?
all i can say is that men like russert gave the media more credibility…i liked him and never knew he was a blue-stater or catholic…it never mattered.
this guy is an idiot…that’s in the greek if he’ll read it…
